Opening brings its office numbers in Vietnam to 140.
Dai-ichi Life Insurance Vietnam (Dai-ichi Life Vietnam) has cooperated with the An Phu Hung Thinh Company to open a sixth branch office and agent office in Hanoi.
The office is located in Dong Anh district and is the 93rd in the company’s office and agent system, increasing the number in the country to 140.
“As Hanoi is one of the key markets of Dai-ichi Life Vietnam we decided to open one more office, which will join the six we already have in the city,” said Mr. Tran Dinh Quan, General Director of Dai-ichi Life Vietnam. “The opening demonstrates our commitment to develop the Vietnam market and enhance the quality of services to local customers.”
To mark the occasion Dai-ichi Life Vietnam also presented 20 scholarships worth VND10 million ($465) to poor and disadvantaged students.
Established on January 18, 2007, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam is a member of the Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company, one of the leading life insurers in Japan and the world. In the first quarter of 2015 the company’s revenue stood at VND200 billion ($9.3 million), up 30 per cent compared to the same period in 2014, while total premiums were VND547 billion ($25.4 million), an increase of 32 per cent year-on-year.
