Additional purchase on May 26 brings ownership to 5.29%.
Deutsche Bank purchased an additional 2.86 million shares in Saigon Securities Inc. (SSI) yesterday, increasing its holding to 5.29 per cent.
It previously held 15.98 billion shares, or 4.48 per cent, after purchasing 1.56 million shares at the end of March.
Two other foreign companies also hold SSI shares: Beira Ltd., with 1.68 million or 0.47 per cent, and Greystanes Ltd., with 945,864 or 0.27 per cent.
On May 18 SSI increased its charter capital from VND3.56 trillion ($163.22 million) to VND4.27 trillion ($195.77 million).
On May 25 the SSI Investment Member Fund announced it had sold all 3,290 shares it held in the Bibica Joint Stock Company (HoSE: BBC), completing its divestment from the company in transactions conducted between May 11 and 21.
