Increases all round on June 8.
All main indexes increased again on June 8, with the VN-Index rising 3.22 points (0.52 per cent) and the VN30-Index 6.08 points (0.97 per cent) on HSX while on HNX the HNX-Index closed 0.62 points (0.74 per cent) higher and the HNX30-Index 1.11 points (0.74 per cent).
The UpCoM Index also increased, by 0.64 points (1.11 per cent).
The VN-Index rose significantly in the morning session, reaching 632.05 points after bottoming out at 626.63 points, but lost momentum in the afternoon, closing at 627.87 points.
Liquidity was high, with some VND2.1 trillion ($94.05 million) changing hands via order matching, or about 30 per cent more than yesterday. Liquidity was also high on HNX, reaching VND826 billion ($36.99 million), or up 33 per cent against yesterday.
Among large caps, GAS, MBB and VCB finished down, by 1.6 per cent, 0.6 per cent and 0.4 per cent, respectively.
VIC closed at its opening price.
HSX, STB and HPG increased 1.7 per cent, BID and CTG 1.1 per cent, and VNM 0.7 per cent.
Most large caps on HNX closed up, including PVI, by 5.2 per cent, NTP 3.2 per cent, SHB 1.6 per cent, PVS 1 per cent and ACB 0.5 per cent.
Foreign investors net bought again on both markets, by VND173 billion ($7.74 million) on HSX and VND6.7 billion ($300,090) on HNX.
