The nature of the stock market sees many leadership and staff changes at securities companies.
Notable changes in leadership positions and staff have been seen at securities companies in recent times. The Vietinbank Securities Company changed both its Chairman and its Director General at its 2015 annual general meeting held recently, under direction from its parent company Vietinbank. Earlier, three of the five members of the board of directors at Bao Viet Securities Company (BVSC) were changed.
Changes have not only been seen in leadership positions but also in departments such as analysis and consulting. The Phuong Dong Securities Company targets to restructure its staff in 2015 so that each person is able to handle many different tasks to meet the needs of the company’s business development.
According to insiders, changes in staffing at securities companies in an inevitable trend as the market show signs of regaining its attractiveness in the mid and long terms. Leaders, meanwhile, face a harsh working environment characterized by rapid and sharp volatility. “They not only manage a company’s operations but also significantly impact on investor belief,” one insider said. “When securities companies’ restructure in the future the market will see more mergers and more drastic changes in both leaderships and staff.”
