State Securities Commission gives go ahead to companies raising charter capital.
The State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC) has issued certificates on increasing the charter capital of Saigon Securities Inc. (SSI) and the Viet Thanh Securities Company (VTS).
Certificate No. 41/GPDC-UBCK amends Certificate of Incorporation and Operation No. 03/GPHDKD issued by the SSC on April 5, 2000, increasing SSI’s charter capital from VND3.53 trillion ($157.08 million) to VND4.7 trillion ($209.15 million).
At the end of August SSI was the first brokerage to approve the removal of limits on foreign ownership.
SSC also issued Certificate No. 42/GPDC-UBCK amending Certificate of Incorporation and Operation No. 84 /GPHDKD issued on March 5, 2008, permitting VTS to increase its charter capital to VND70 billion ($3.11 million).
