All indexes up on June 7.
All main indexes closed higher on June 7. On HSX the VN-Index increased 4.6 points (0.74 per cent) and the VN30-Index 5.13 points (0.83 per cent) while on HNX the HNX-Index was up 0.54 points (0.65 per cent) and the HNX30-Index 1.54 points (1.03 per cent).
The UpCoM Index also increased, by 0.17 points (0.29 per cent).
In morning trade the VN-Index hit 624.38 points early on before bottoming out at 620.13 points then recovering to close at 622.31 points. In the afternoon it peaked at 624.66 points then slipped to 622.72 points and closed at 624.65 points.
HSX saw 137 shares increase and 92 decrease while HNX saw 172 increase and 129 decrease.
Three banking large caps fell: CTG by 1.1 per cent, STB 0.8 per cent and BID 0.5 per cent.
Most large caps increased, including HPG, by 2.5 per cent, VIC 1.9 per cent, GAS 1.7 per cent, MBB 1.3 per cent, VNM 0.7 per cent and VCB 0.6 per cent.
BVH and EIB closed at their opening price.
Liquidity was relatively low, with some VND1.65 trillion ($73.83 million) changing hands via order matching, down 14 per cent against yesterday.
On HNX, PVI closed down 0.4 per cent, NTP 0.2 per cent, and VCS 0.1 per cent. ACB, SHB and PHP closed at their opening price while VCG was up 4.9 per cent, PVS 2.7 per cent and DBC 0.3 per cent.
After net selling yesterday, foreign investors today net bought again, by some VND92.7 billion ($4.14 million) on HSX, and in the VN30 basket by VND80 billion ($3.58 million), and by VND11.4 billion ($510,150) on HNX.
