VN30-Index alone in rising

Other indexes down on July 26 as VN-30 Index bucks the trend.

Vietnam main indexes saw only VN-Index slightly increase while other shares keep being down on July 26.


On HSX the VN-Index fell 0.71 points (0.11 per cent) and the VN30-Index raise 1.47 points (0.23 per cent) while on HNX the HNX-Index lost 0.48 points (0.57 per cent) and the HNX30-Index 0.6 points (0.4 per cent).


The UpCoM Index decreased by 0.7 points (1.23 per cent).


HSX saw 115 shares increasing and 104 decreasing while HNX saw 133 increasing and 133 decreasing.


Liquidity on HNX reached VND423 billion ($18.96 million), down 1 per cent against yesterday, and HSX was VND1.8 trillion ($80.69 million) up 16 per cent.


The VN-Index opened at 649.30, quickly reached 649.47 points before tumbling to the bottom of the day at 643.11 points before recover and close morning session at 645.26 points. In the afternoon it dipped slightly, to 644.81 points, then increased quickly to the peak for the day at 651.48 points before easing to 648.59 points by the close.  


GAS, as the third largest cap in the HSX today influenced negatively on the market as this share down 4.8 per cent over the day.


VNM closed up 1.9 per cent, HPG up 3.4 per cent while VIC remain at the opening price.


Banking shares in the HSX saw VCB remain at the opening price and BID down 0.57 per cent while other shares remain at the opening price. Other banking shares in HSX saw increasing include of EIB 2.7 per cent, STB 1.82 per cent, MBB 0.7 per cent and CTG 0.6 per cent.


Most of the largest caps in the HNX saw decreasing VCG down 2 per cent, PVS 1.8 per cent, ACB 1.1 per cent and NTP 0.3 per cent. Large caps increasing includes of VCS up 2.8 per cent, PVI 1.9 per cent and DBC 0.3 per cent. PHP today saw remain at the opening price.


Foreign investors net bought on both markets, by some VND147 billion ($6.59 million) on HSX and VND9 billion ($403,470) on HNX.
