A romantic and exclusive culinary and musical event on March 22 and 24 at Social Club Restaurant on the 23rd floor of Hôtel des Arts Saigon will feature Australian award-winning pianist Van-Anh Nguyen, her mighty partner DJ Mark Olsen (from “Fear of Dawn”), and Vietnamese vocalist Doan Trang. The state-of-the-art event series is under the umbrella of celebrations for International Women’s Day and will leave the hotel’s discerning guests in awe.

Van-Anh Nguyen is a passionate Los Angeles and Sydney-based Australian-Vietnamese pianist, producer, composer, teacher, fashionista, blogger, and model. Incorporating music, fashion, lighting, DJs, and her contagious personality, any concert experience with Van-Anh will leave the audience wanting to know more, to hear more, and to feel more.

Born in Sydney, Van-Anh started learning the piano at the tender and astounding age of 15 months, with both her professional musician parents. By the age of four, she was accepted into the young artists program for gifted and talented musicians at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. By the age of nine, she had obtained her Associate Diploma in Music (Australia), and at 12 received her Licentiate Diploma in Music (Australia), making history as one of the youngest in her generation. She has given numerous media performances across all major Australian TV channels as well as on radio 2MBS-FM and the ABC since the age of five.

The Hôtel des Arts Saigon’s “Virtuoso meets diva epic” dinner will take place from 7pm to 10pm on March 22, featuring exquisite cuisine and premium wines with sense-awakening music from a dynamite collaboration performance by Van-Anh Nguyen and Vietnam’s diva vocalist Doan Trang. Tickets are VND3.888 million ($175) per person. Meanwhile, the “Double touch Sunday brunch” will take place from 12pm to 3pm on March 24, featuring premium food and wines accompanied by music from Van-Anh and DJ Mark Olsen. Tickets are VND2.388 million ($108) per person.
