The first Azera hotel in Vietnam and second overall will open in the Mekong Delta’s Can Tho city in December.

Azerai is a new brand of hotel that offers guests simple elegance, refined design, and discreet and attentive service in places of unique beauty and cultural interest.

It is uniquely envisioned for today’s experienced urbane individuals, couples, and families looking for distinction, quality and comfort at affordable prices.

Azerai is located on Au Islet in the Hau River and covers an area of over 8 ha with 60 rooms. Its design is inspired by traditional architecture and achieved through a contemporary interpretation.

After travelling to Can Tho city by car or plane, the pier in the city provides a relaxing setting to prepare for the boat transfer to Azerai, which takes approximately 10 minutes via a canal.

Facilities and services include a wide range of fitness-enhancing opportunities as well as a comprehensive spa, a junior zone, restaurants, a lounge and bar, and a boutique.

The accommodation is housed in 30 two-room structures, embracing the use of local materials for today’s modern comforts. Interiors are light and neutral in tone. Each room is approximately 35 sq m, offering a range of views of the river, lake or the surrounding gardens and trees. All rooms have a spacious bathroom and a combined bed and sitting area, in addition to an outdoor terrace with loungers. Beds are king-size or king-size twin single beds and amenities include a TV, a mini bar, and coffee and tea making facilities.

Room rates start from $250++ during the period from December 2017 to September 2018.

The name Azerai is influenced by the initials of Adrian Zecha and the Persian word “caravanserai”, which means a resting place for travelers with a central courtyard. Azerai’s first hotel is located in the heart of the Buddhist township of Luang Prabang in Laos, one of the lesser known but beautifully preserved UNESCO heritage sites in the world.
