Dalat Edensee Lake Resort & Spa is an ideal place for those who love to be among lush natural surroundings.
Overlooking Tuyen Lam Lake and the gently undulating hills nearby, the first luxurious resort, Dalat Edensee Lake Resort & Spa, sits on an idyllic location with 30 separate villas in European style. Nestled in the heart of the magnificent “Black Forest of Vietnam”, 1,500 metres above sea level, the resort is also the perfect starting point for trips to the central highlands.
Dalat Edensee Lake Resort & Spa bears the image of traditional European villages, where Mr Tieu Nhu Phuong, owner of the resort, has lived. “Stemming from the construction and architecture I studied and worked with in Germany, my biggest dream after full financial capacity was to create some beautiful locations in Vietnam,” he said.
Dalat Edensee represents a first-class destination combining breathtaking surroundings, personalised services, and spacious sanctuaries of peace and tranquillity. The elegantly-appointed villas have been thoughtfully designed in delightfully soothing colours with classic fabrics in a warm décor, giving each a distinctive allure.
The resort’s accommodation provides guests with a “cocoon”. Each villa has a private balcony facing onto Tuyen Lam Lake or the lush pine forests, overwhelming guests with an immediate sense of relaxation. Named after a famous flower from Dalat, the Mimosa Superior wing offers ten separate villas with a total of 40 rooms with mountain views. The Mimosa block is usually set up with 40 twin bedrooms. The single beds can also be made into a king-size bed to make double bedrooms of 40 square metres each. The Jasmine wing, including 12 villas, offers a total of 48 deluxe rooms - half with a lake view and half with a mountain or garden view. Divided into six separate villas, the Camellia Suites include a total of 24 suites with lake views. The block is usually set up with 18 exclusive suites and six family suites with a total living area of 70 square metres. The 18 exclusive suites include a living room and kitchenette, a double bedroom, a bathroom with two hand basins and a separate guest toilet. The VIP Villa is situated at the most remote corner of the resort, on the shores of Tuyen Lam Lake, with a private gateway leading to the “small castle”. With a total living area of around 900 square metres, consisting of three floors, the VIP Villa is not only suitable for families and friends but also meets the requirements of groups of business travellers.
While staying at the resort, guests can begin their day with a delicious breakfast on the terrace of the Riesling restaurant, which features luxurious western architecture combined with select dishes. The Nam Xuan restaurant, meanwhile, has five private rooms for exclusive celebrations or business events, serving Vietnamese cuisine.
The resort’s La Roseraie Spa sits on 2,000 square metres, with modern facilities for healthcare. Throughout the spa guests can enjoy the pleasant aroma of the resort’s rosarium. The spa includes a heated indoor swimming pool, a gym, 12 different treatments, a beauty salon, a cosmetics shop, a kids club and a vitamin bar. There are also three golf driving ranges at the resort.
In September 2013 Dalat Edensee received a “Green Lotus” award from The Guide and Vietnam Economic Times. In the Certificate of Excellence presented to Edensee at the awards ceremony, the resort was recognised for its “Magnificent location offering the most spectacular natural setting in Dalat”.
