Flamingo Dai Lai Resort was named among the Top 10 hotels and resorts worldwide in 2014 by digital architecture and design magazine DESIGNBOOM on December 23. DESIGNBOOM is the world's first and most popular digital architecture and design magazine, based in Milan, Italy.
According to the magazine, all hotels and resorts on the list are outstandingly diverse in architectural design, materials, and production techniques, providing guests with a truly relaxing and comfortable stay.
The northern Vinh Phuc province-based resort, some 45 km from Hanoi and 10 km from Noi Bai International Airport, was the only Vietnamese representative on the list.
The eco-resort complex was evaluated on its natural environment, spectacular landscapes and impressive architecture. It was described as a residential retreat located just one hour from Hanoi and a natural destination to enjoy a weekend getaway.
