Kicking-off the festive season of 2018, a Lighting Ceremony will be held from 5-7pm on November 24 at the Grand Lobby in the Hotel Nikko Hanoi, 84 Tran Nhan Tong Street, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi.

The annual event brings an exciting atmosphere to town and boasts one of the highest indoor Christmas trees in the capital.

The ceremony also features a host of cuisine activities as well as the one-and-only hand bell performance in Vietnam, presented by Hotel Nikko Hanoi’s young and dedicated staff and promising to bring a unique and memorable festive experience.

A buffet feast with a variety of high-quality seafood and drinks is on offer at La Brasserie Restaurant, the hotel’s international buffet station, on the night. It includes premier Canadian lobster and other seafood such as prawns, scallops, green mussels, and mantis shrimps. There is also sashimi, sushi, and BBQ, as well as varied desserts and a collection of wine, Japanese sake, and draught beer. The feast costs VND1.1 million ($48)++ per person.

Meanwhile, the Chinese Tao-li Restaurant will offer an “All You Can Eat” dim sum menu with over 70 typical Chinese delights and other dishes processed from high quality fresh ingredients such as abalone, scallops, crab and crab eggs, duck, and American beef. It also offers “Buy 4, Pay 3”, and a free glass of fresh water or soft drink for reservations made at least one day in advance. The price is VND550,000 ($24)++ per person.

Entry to the Lighting Ceremony is free, with a welcome drink provided to all, and special gifts for children, like twisted balloons and ginger cookies. The family can also take memorable photos with the Christmas tree in the beautifully-decorated lobby.
