Various incentives will be on offer for visitors interested in Vietnam's historic sites.
The Hue Golden Week of Tourism will take place from April 22-28 with a series of promotions at heritage sites.
According to the Hue Monuments Conversation Center, the week is in response to the 2015 domestic tourism stimulus program launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Accordingly, visitors who visit the Imperial Palace and Minh Mang and Khai Dinh tombs will receive free entrance to the Thieu Tri tomb and An Dinh palace.
In addition to the above sites, visitors to Tu Dinh will be taken to Gia Long and Thieu Tri tombs, Hon Chen temple and An Dinh palace at no extra cost. Groups of 20 or more visitors will enjoy guided tours free of charge, as well as a 10-30 per cent discount on other features including ceremonial music performances, photographs and electric car service.
Similar occasions will be held from June 14-21, September 2-8, and December 28-30.
