Marking the brand's debut in Vietnam, Le Méridien Saigon will attract curious and creative travelers in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., has recently announced the debut of the Le Méridien name in Vietnam with the opening of Le Méridien Saigon. Situated on the banks of the Saigon River in District 1, the hotel offers panoramic vistas of the river and the bustling cityscape.
“Ho Chi Minh City boasts a vibrant hospitality market that is characterized by growing demand for high-end accommodation and distinctive, meaningful lifestyle experiences,” General Manager of Le Méridien Saigon, Mr. Frank Bochmann, said. “We are confident that with Le Méridien Saigon’s differentiated positioning we will elevate the city’s hospitality landscape and highlight Vietnamese culture through distinct programming.”
Le Méridien Saigon features 350 contemporary guest rooms and suites starting from a spacious 38 square meters, each outfitted with signature Le Méridien amenities. Each room has separate sitting and work areas, a French soaking bathtub, and a rainforest shower.
Guests can indulge themselves in the hotel’s three distinct dining venues, including Bamboo Chic, which serves an artful combination of Japanese-Chinese cuisine, Latest Recipe, the hotel’s signature dining venue with interactive buffets and the Le Méridien signature breakfast, and Latitude 10, transforming from day to night offering fine coffee and fine wines from around the world together with imaginative cocktail and sake creations. In addition, Explore Bistro, part of the Explore Spa & Health Club, offers healthy and detoxifying food and beverages for dining in or grab-and-go, while Art Cacao presents signature éclairs, artesian chocolate, and sweet bites.
Other facilities include over 1,000 square meters of meeting and pre-function space, including a versatile 400 square meter ballroom, and the Le Méridien Fitness and Explore Spa, with an indoor pool offering breathtaking views from its sundeck.
The opening of Le Méridien Saigon marks the fourth Starwood Hotel in Vietnam, joining the Sheraton Hanoi Hotel, Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers, and Sheraton Nha Trang Hotel & Spa. Starwood’s robust pipeline in Vietnam also encompasses Four Points by Sheraton Danang and Sheraton Danang Resort, which are expected to open in 2017 and 2018, respectively.
