Hotel and cruise operator acknowledged for its efforts in corporate social responsibility.
On March 11 Paradise Vietnam, which specializes in hotels and cruises around Ha Long Bay, was honored to receive public tributes at the recent “Enterprises with Great Achievements in Social Security Declaration” ceremony in Hanoi.
It was among 60 corporations receiving an award for significant accomplishments in corporate social responsibility (CSR), which it won for a fourth time, with the theme “Enterprises for the Poor”.
The annual awards aim to raise public awareness and encourage businesses in their CSR activities. They also hope to improve perceptions among consumers and suppliers about organizations that are active in CSR, raising the profile of Vietnam’s business environment and helping draw in more foreign investment.
Paradise Vietnam has contributed to many funds for social welfare activities over recent years, not only in Ha Long Bay and Quang Ninh province but all around Vietnam. It has also provided thousands of jobs for local people, increasing their incomes and living standards.
“This award is not the achievement of a single person but the result of a joint effort by the whole group,” said Mr. Dao Trong Tuyen, CEO of Paradise Vietnam. “CSR is and always will be one of our most important concerns and a driver of the group’s sustainable development in the future.”
