Unreserved grandeur

The Reverie Saigon boasts a magnificence simply not found elsewhere in Ho Chi Minh City.

Officially opening in September, the Reverie Saigon commands the upper and lower floors of the contemporary, mixed-use 39-storey Times Square in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1, with a frontage on the city’s two most-storied avenues - Dong Khoi and Nguyen Hue.

The hotel is just a five-minute walk from Lam Son Square, City Hall, and Notre Dame Cathedral, while the Museum of Ho Chi Minh City and Reunification Palace are both within a kilometer.
With unreserved grandeur that epitomizes the best of Italian design, the hotel transcends expectations of place to be a modern-day exploration of fanciful, classically-inspired splendor. From its rooms and suites to its restaurants and bars as well as its extravagant public spaces, all feature indelible expressions of some of the best craftsmanship and artistry in the world.

“With this hotel we have tried to create an experience in accommodation that is so singular, so splendid, and so unexpected in the one-time ‘Pearl of the Orient’ that the hotel becomes a place that stays with guests long after they’ve checked-out,” said General Manager of the hotel and Vice President of Operations at the WMC Group, Mr. Herbert Laubichler-Pichler.

From the expansive views from the city’s highest hotel, customers can enjoy the panorama of the sprawling city itself with the monumental colonial French architecture on the streets below and the dramatic twists of the Saigon River.

Floor-to-ceiling windows in all 286 guest rooms and suites reveal views of Ho Chi Minh City’s ever-evolving skyline, the Saigon River and beyond to the storied Mekong Delta. The 12 categories of guest rooms offer the largest accommodation in the city, with 224 rooms ranging in size from an ample 43-53 square meters and 62 suites ranging from a spacious 63 square meters to a palatial 313 square meters.

Each is individually furnished by some of Italy’s finest design houses, including Colombostile, GiorgettiVisionnaire, and Provasi, with interiors ranging from sophisticated modern to classical European and from whimsically romantic to fanciful and sassy.

Times Square is also home to 89 extended-stay apartments, comprising 78 one-bedroom units and eleven two-bedroom units. Ranging in size from 80-140 square meters, the full-service residences come with fully-equipped kitchens and feature classical or contemporary interiors, replete with Italian-made furnishings. Private chefs are available upon request.
Led by Italian Executive Chef Giovanni Parrella, the hotel’s dining options include The Royal Pavilion, serving Chinese cuisine by skilled Hong Kong chefs, R&J, offering Italian cuisine by Italian Chef de Cuisine Fabrizio Valdetara, Café Cardinal, serving French cuisine from Chef Sebastien, and The Long@Times Square, a ground floor café and bar with a 48-meter bar stretching all the way from Dong Khoi to Nguyen Hue.

The Spa, meanwhile, spans 1,200 square meters on two floors with ten treatment rooms and a beauty salon and plans to establish a reputation for itself as the most luxurious retreat in Vietnam. Separate men’s and women’s steam and sauna facilities, as well as a beauty salon offering hair styling and hand and foot care, round out the wellness and esthetics options.
The hotel’s 120 square meter gym fulfills the fantasies of fitness buffs, with an expansive suite of TechnoGym equipment and inspiring views of the hotel’s 24-meter, sixth-floor swimming pool. Outdoor Jacuzzis and indoor steam rooms and sauna complete the amenities.

The swimming pool, situated on an expansive outdoor terrace on the sixth floor, is accompanied by Jacuzzis, oversized loungers, an underwater sound system, and a wrap-around wall of glass decorated with hanging flowers.

The hotel’s facilities also include 15 venues for meetings, including the La Scala Grand Ballroom, the largest pillar-less ballroom in the city and aptly named for its silk and onyx-lined walls and Swarovski crystal chandeliers.

Last but not least, the eighth floor is home to a multi-faceted solution for the corporate traveler. With an attendant on hand from 7am to 10pm and computer terminals available 24 hours a day, the Business Centre is equipped with an extensive range of hardware, from photocopiers and LCD projectors to laser pointers and conference phone systems. Services include printing, copying, binding, translation, and shipping.

The Reverie Saigon has become a property in Ho Chi Minh City worth of the title “Destination for all Occasions”.
