Carrier increases frequencies to cater to travel demand during summer season.
VietJet Air will increase the frequency of flights connecting Hai Phong, Da Nang and Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi as well as on the Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi route for the next few months.
“We have seen high demand on daily flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to the three cities,” said Mr. Desmond Lin, Director of Business Development at VietJet. “Over the summer these routes are at full capacity because of the travel demands of businesspeople, families, and other holidaymakers.”
An extra 500 flights, equivalent to 90,000 seats, will therefore be added to VietJet’s schedule over the coming months.
From June 10 flights from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Nha Trang will total 20, 12, and five, respectively, until August 9. The Ho Chi Minh City to Hai Phong route will have five return flights daily from June 10 to December 31.
Tickets can be booked and purchased at www.vietjetair.com (compatible with mobile phones) or by clicking on www.facebook.com/vietjetairvietnam (look for the “Booking” tab). Customers can also book by visiting their nearest VietJet ticket outlet or by calling the airline’s hotline, 1900 1886.
Earlier this year Vietnam’s fastest growing carrier added 1,500 flights, equivalent to 270,000 seats, across its entire network in preparation for the summer peak season.
