Vietjet Air opened its latest international route on June 22, from Ho Chi Minh City to Tainan in Taiwan.

Flights depart Ho Chi Minh City at 10.45am and arrive in Tainan at 3pm, with return flights leaving Tainan at 4pm and arriving in Ho Chi Minh City at 6.15pm (all local times).

Thanks to Vietjet’s convenient schedule, affordable fares and high quality services, the route is expected to boost socioeconomic and cultural exchanges between Vietnam and Taiwan and increase regional integration.

The route is the second between Vietnam’s southern business and tourism hub and Taiwan.

Tickets can be booked from 12pm to 2pm at www.vietjetair.com or at www.facebook.com/vietjetvietnam, via Vietjet’s call center at 1900 1886 or at Vietjet booking offices and agencies nationwide and internationally. Payment can be easily made with debit and credit cards from Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and American Express and ATM cards issued by 24 Vietnamese banks that have been registered with internet banking.

To celebrate the new route Vietjet has announced three new golden promotion days from June 21 to June 23, offering 100,000 air tickets priced from VND0 and on sale from 12pm to 2pm daily at www.vietjetair.com. The promotion is available for all international routes from Vietnam to South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar and Malaysia from August 10 to December 31 (except public holidays).

Vietjet is the first airline in Vietnam to operate as a new-age carrier with low costs and diversified services to meet customer demands.

The airline now boasts a fleet of 40 aircraft, including A320s and A321s, and operates 300 flights each day. It has already opened 53 routes in Vietnam and across the region to Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, China and Myanmar. It has carried nearly 25 million passengers to date.
