Flights to start from May 29.

Vietjet Air has begun selling tickets on its new Ho Chi Minh City - Bali (Indonesia) route, to welcome in the vibrant summer and mark it becoming the first and only airline operating direct flights between the two destinations.

Daily return flights will be conducted every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday from May 29. Flight time is around four hours per leg. Flights depart Ho Chi Minh City at 8am and arrive in Bali at 1.05pm, while the return flight takes off from Bali at 2.05pm and lands in Ho Chi Minh City at 5.05pm (all local times).

The new route connects the two famous cities of culture and tourism and contributes to promoting trade and integration in the region.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, Vice President of Vietjet, said it possesses advantages in its expanding flight network and comfortable, friendly services. “I believe that this new route will not only create opportunities for people to travel but also connect two cities known as the economic and cultural centers of Vietnam and Indonesia,” he said. “The route will contribute to promoting tourism and economic integration in the region as well as introduce Vietnam’s image to the world.”

Tickets are available on all channels as well as during the “golden hour” promotion from 12pm to 2pm every day at www.vietjetair.com, compatible with smartphones at https://m.vietjetair.com, or www.facebook.com/vietjetvietnam (just click the “Booking” tab). Payments can be easily made with international debit and credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, JCB, KCP and Union, or with any ATM card issued by 34 Vietnamese banks and registered with internet banking.

Bali is also known as the “Island of the Gods”, “Tropical Paradise”, and “Dawn of the World”. Voted the best tourist island in the world, it is a wonderful combination of pristine, beautiful landscapes and the essence of the local culture, arts and religion. Besides visiting Ubud Palace and discover the famous town of Bedugul with the large Bratan Lake, tourists can also go surfing, snorkeling, and diving, or visit endless terraced rice fields.
