Taiwan Excellence is a major display with the purpose of conveying messages about the country’s products and brands. This year is the first time consumers in Ho Chi Minh City will have the opportunity to access the products of Taiwan Excellence through both online and traditional sales channels. Lazada, the leading e-commerce website in Vietnam, has been selected as the partner for official online sales.
A new feature of this year’s campaign is that instead of introducing separate products, those of the Taiwan Excellence brand are brought to Vietnamese customers with technological solutions, house ware, and comprehensive healthcare, in particular a series of technological products for business customers.
Vietnam is the tenth largest trading partner of Taiwan, according to figures from the Taipei Department of Trade, according to Mr. Tang Ming Hui, Director of the Representative Office of the Taiwan Foreign Trade Development Council (TAITRA) in Vietnam. “In 2015 TAITRA selected only 15 key markets to organize a series of events and the reason why we continue to choose Vietnam is because of the positive response from Vietnamese consumers to high quality products originating from Taiwan.”
