Foreign investors purchase 80% of shares at Airports Corporation of Vietnam IPO.
The Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) has announced the results of the initial public offering (IPO) of Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV).
A total of 77,804,122 shares were sold, representing 3.47 per cent of charter capital, bringing in over VND1.1 trillion ($48.4 million).
The highest sale price was VND38,300 ($1.7) and the lowest VND13,100 ($0.58), with the highest order being 14.29 million shares and the lowest 100 shares.
There were 152 investors meeting the price, including 133 individual investors and 19 institutional investors. Foreign investors bought 63.7 million shares, or 82 per cent of the total.
ACV operates 22 airports, including seven international airports and 15 domestic airports.
After equitization ACV will have charter capital of VND22.4 trillion ($985.6 million), with the State holding 75 per cent, staff 1.4 per cent, and strategic investors 20 per cent.
