New supercenter in Hanoi's Ha Dong district to stock nearly 16,000 items.
Big C officially opened Big C Ho Guom, its 31st Big C supercenter in Vietnam, on June 25.
On an area of 7,400 sq m in the Ho Guom Plaza residential project in the Mo Lao Urban Area in Hanoi’s Ha Dong district, the supercenter targets to meet the shopping needs of local residents.
Its self service hypermarket, on an area of 2,500 sq m, will stock 16,000 items, including dried food, fresh food, clothes, electronics, and appliances, of which nearly 95 per cent are produced in Vietnam.
Its 1,500 sq m shopping mall has 55 shops of famous brands in different sectors, such as Adidas, Neo, Bata, The Face Shop, Yves Rocher, KFC, ICY Coffee, and Mochi Sweets.
In Vietnam since 1998, Big C, a subsidiary of the French retailer the Casino Group, has a presence in localities nationwide, including Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Can Tho, and Dong Nai. In 2014 it shipped nearly 1,000 containers of Vietnamese products to Casino Group stores around the world.
