68,000 new businesses registered in the first nine months with $45.3 billion in capital.
Some 68,000 new enterprises were established in the first nine months of this year according to the National Business Registration Portal under the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
In September there were 7,042 new enterprises registered while 10,111 existing enterprises were dissolved. The 68,000 new enterprises registered in the first nine months far exceeded the 54,000 dissolved enterprises.
The National Business Registration Portal also said that the establishment of new enterprises steadily increased in all sectors compared with the first nine months of 2014. Capital of these enterprises reached over VND1,020 trillion ($45.3 billion) in the first nine months, of which the manufacturing business accounted for 59.6 per cent, or VND608 trillion ($26.9 billion).
On September 14 the government issued Decree No. 78/2015/ND-CP on business registration, to take effect on November 1. To create straightforward conditions for business registration, the Decree provides detailed regulations on procedures and shortens the time required.
On July 1 the National Business Registration Portal was updated to a new 2.0 version with advanced features, enabling the business registration process to proceed smoothly and quickly.
