Ms. Huong Tran Kieu Dung takes up CEO position at FLC Group.
Ms. Huong Tran Kieu Dung officially became CEO of the FLC Group on May 9, replacing Mr. Doan Van Phuong, who will be Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Management.
“The appointment shows that FLC’s strategy is to focus on developing real estate projects in the time to come,” a representative from the Group said at a ceremony held recently to mark the appointment.
Ms. Dung is currently a member of the Board of Management, Deputy Managing Director of the FLC Group, Chairwoman of the FLC Travel Co., and Deputy Managing Director of the FLC Golf and Resort Co.
“The Group is in a stage of constant expansion, so the pressure will be great,” Ms. Dung told the ceremony. “I vow to devote myself to the development of FLC.”
Born in 1978, Ms. Dung has a PhD in Construction and Planning Law from France’s Montesquieu Bordeaux IV University. She also has more than 15 years of experience in consulting and managing businesses, property project construction, investment, and M&A in Vietnam.
FLC targets to reach total consolidated revenue of VND5.5 trillion ($255 million) and profit before tax of VND1.1 trillion ($53.3 million) this year; 2.5 times higher than in 2014. It also plans to increase its charter capital to VND8 trillion ($368 million).
