The National Traffic Safety Committee and Prudential Vietnam have come together to provide 5,000 families affected by traffic accidents with insurance policies worth VND50 million ($2,300), as part of the “Loving Arms to Share Traffic Pain” program.
The program will be introduced in ten cities and provinces: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa, Hue, Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Nghe An, Dong Nai and Can Tho.
Addressing the signing ceremony, Minister of Transport and Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee Dinh La Thang said that the free life insurance policies provided by Prudential Vietnam’s Prudence Fund will make an important contribution to achieving the aims of the national traffic safety program. “Through the program I call on all organizations and individuals to continue to take an interest in and support the victims of traffic accidents and their families.”
Prudential Vietnam is the first organization to commit to working with the National Traffic Safety Committee in implementing the program, for five years from now to 2019. The program aims to create a bridge for the community to give compassion to those families affected by traffic accidents, to share, encourage, support and help them overcome the difficulties and improve their lives.
