Samsung Vina Electronics officially introduced two new phones: Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, to Vietnam's market, in Ho Chi Minh City on March 3.
The Galaxy S7 is priced at VND15.99 million ($730) and the Galaxy S7 Edge VND18.49 million ($850).
The capacity to take high-quality photos in dark conditions is a significant feature of both phones as they are the first to apply Dual Pixel 12MP technology.
They are also water and dust resistant and designed with metal and 3D glass screens of 5.1 inches for the S7 and 5.5 inches for the S7 Edge.
The new phones have normal and wireless charging and can use memory cards of up to 200GB. A second SIM is optional.
Since March 18 the phones have been available in three colors.
On the same day Samsung also launched the platinum Gear S2 Classic watch and Gear VR glasses, compatible with Note, S6 Edge, S6 and S6 Edge+, at prices of VND8.99 million ($410) and VND2.19 million ($100), respectively.
