The Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) together with the German Bundestag Delegation held the official opening ceremony of German Business Incubator Vietnam (GBI Vietnam) - a new project of German Industry and Commerce Vietnam - on March 29, attended by more than 100 guests.

GBI Vietnam will support SMEs and startups from Germany doing business and investing in Vietnam. It provides working spaces, meeting rooms, networking opportunities, and workshops for German businesses - an ecosystem to establish a company in one of the most dynamic economies in Asia.

GBI Vietnam can be found in Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City, one of the most modern and most energy-efficient office buildings in the south of the city. There are currently eight German organizations, SMEs, and startups in GBI Vietnam: Aone Deutschland AG, Tilia, Ewerk.com, Rheinland-Pfalz, Lechler, IAK Agrar Consulting, Edubao ifb and Kjellberg.

In March, GBI Vietnam, operated by German Industry and Commerce Vietnam (GIC/AHK Vietnam) and the German Centre for Industry and Trade GmbH, a member of Landesbank Baden-Wuerttemberg (LBBW), signed a cooperation agreement under which both will support German companies in their ventures in the Southeast Asian region, which is increasingly developing into a real heavyweight in Asia.
