The Hardware and Hand Tools Expo will be held from December 4 to 7 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 7.

The Expo is expected to have 400 booths, an increase of 30 per cent compared to 2018, and aims to accelerate the development of the mechanical engineering industry in general and increase the competitiveness of domestic enterprises in particular. Leading brands from Japan, Germany, Spain, the US, Europe, India, Taiwan (China), and South Korea will attract visitors with quality, style, and features.

Booths will focus on four key product groups: repair tools, reinforcing equipment, machine tools, and hand tools. The common characteristic of these product groups is an emphasis on absolute accuracy, so direct trade at the exhibition is an advantage for manufacturers and partners to meet directly, experience products, and build relationships.

Within the Expo, the DIY Vietnam Workshop will also be held, to inspire the DIY (do-it-yourself) trend popular around the world.

The workshop will connect individuals, communities, and businesses in household carpentry, helping customers designing interiors for restaurants, schools, offices, and homes. The Expo expects to also provide effective branding connections based on a specialized customer database.

Meanwhile, the Garden and Landscape Expo will introduce experts and individuals who love to beautify life by changing and improving the living space around them.

Finally, the Green Space - Green Future Workshop will provide practical experience from architects and emphasize applicability in design and construction trends with “green” elements.

These events will be held simultaneously with Vietnam Expo 2019, which aims to attract foreign investment and promote the local market through multinational trade promotion. The largest Vietnam Expo to date, it will have 850 businesses from 20 countries and territories participating, on an area of 10,000 sq m in 900 booths that will connect about 20,000 visitors over the course of the four days. Countries and territories represented include the UK, India, Taiwan (China), Germany, South Korea, Hong Kong (China), Indonesia, Malaysia, Russia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, Switzerland, China, and the US.
