The Lam Son Sugar Joint Stock Corporation (Lasuco) expects to open its high-tech agriculture center in northern Thanh Hoa province on January 30, Chairman Le Van Tam has said.

The project has investment of almost VND200 billion ($8.91 million) and an area of 100 ha, with greenhouses, irrigation systems, net houses, plant breeding areas, and laboratories.

This is the first high-tech agriculture plant in the province and has the involvement of leading domestic research institutes and foreign experts.
