Chairman seeking to purchase additional 10 million shares in transactions between June 16 and July 14.
Mr. Tran Dinh Long, Chairman of the Hoa Phat Group, has registered to buy 10 million more shares in the company, with transactions expected between June 16 and July 14 by order matching and negotiation.
If the transactions succeed Mr. Long will increase his ownership to 184.33 million shares, or 25.15 per cent of charter capital, according to the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.
At the share price on June 9, Mr. Long will have to part with VND270 billion ($12.37 million) to buy the 10 million shares.
The total ownership of Mr. Long’s family in the Hoat Phat Group stands at 238 million shares, accounting for 32.49 per cent of charter capital. His mother, Ms. Do Thi Gioi, holds 430,352 shares, or 0.06 per cent, while his wife, Ms. Vu Thi Hien, holds 53.4 million shares, or 7.28 per cent.
