The “Innovative Technology Startup Contest 4.0” is being organized by V-Startup on November 14 at TECHFEST Vietnam 2018 in central Da Nang city. The contest saw the participation of many enterprises in a host of fields, focusing mainly on exploiting technology application 4.0.

TECHFEST Vietnam 2018 is organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Central Economic Commission, the Central Youth Union, and the Da Nang City People’s Committee. It is an annual event that bolsters the country’s entrepreneurial spirit and attracts the attention of the international startup community.

Startups in the fields of high technology applications such as AI, Blockchain, IoT, and Robotics entered the contest.

With the participation of different elements within the startup ecosystem, the contest offered opportunities to access investment funds, obtain advice from industry experts, and exchange experience with other businesses.

With the presence of judges such as representatives of departments and support organizations, economic experts, and investors, it was a unique opportunity for startups to learn, reach out to investors, and win a place in the semi-finals.

The contest is taking place from 1.30pm to 5.30pm on November 14 at B2 - 202, A1 Building, National Economics University. The three teams in the qualifying round will have the chance to reach the semi-finals and move a step closer to the final, the Startup World Cup, in Silicon Valley.

More than 170 investment links were made. 2017 also saw 250 startups in attendance, displaying innovative products and services in many fields.
