New Camry rolls out

TMV launches latest model of popular motor car, in three versions and four colors.

Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) introduced the New Generation Camry 2015 on April 21.

With the slogan “The Class. The Camry”, the new Camry retains its “Keen Look” identity with a bold, wide and low stance that makes the sedan ideal for personal and business use. “In 2015 market demand is forecast to continue growing under favorable economic conditions,” said Mr. Yoshihisa Maruta, President of TMV. “Moreover, customers nowadays are more eager to own a car. Therefore, we - all TMV members - will continue to make more efforts to provide an attractive product line-up. Introducing the new Camry is part of these efforts, which will provide a better life to customers.”

The New Camry 2015 comes in three versions: 2.5Q, 2.5G, and 2.0E, in four available colors: Silver Metallic (1D4), Black Attitute (218), Beige Metallic (4RO), and a new color, Greyish Blue Mica Metallic (8V5), which emphasizes the luxury image and emotional aspects for the model.

The New Camry 2015 goes on sale officially at all TMV dealer networks nationwide from April 21. In order to introduce the new car to all customers, showroom events will be held at all dealerships nationwide from now to April 28.

As a global vehicle the Camry is currently being manufactured in nine countries, including Japan, the US, Australia, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, China, Malaysia and Russia, and is sold in over 100 countries around the world. In 2006 the total number of Camry sold broke the 10 million mark and that number now exceeds 14 million, making it one of the best-selling sedans in the world.

In Vietnam the Camry has always been considered a prestigious and luxurious motor car. First introduced in January 1998, it quickly gained appreciation among and satisfaction from customers, with total sales of more than 38,000 units, accounting for over 80 per cent the market share and being considered a flagship model in Vietnam’s automobile market.
