Company announces new 4S centers to open in HCMC and Hanoi.
Volvo is to open two Volvo 4S centers in Vietnam in the third quarter, according to a company announcement on March 22.
The two centers will be located in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 7 and Hanoi’s Long Bien district and will be equipped with cutting-edge machinery, equipment and technologies.
The Euro Auto JSC has been selected as Volvo’s authorized marketer and importer and also provides other services.
Volvo currently has 27 3S auto agents around the country. Last year it sold nearly 19,000 vehicles for a market share of 8.5 per cent, according to the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association.
Mr. Jari Kohonen, Volvo’s Vice President for Asia-Pacific, said the group’s new SUV XC90 and Sedan S90 models will be introduced in Vietnam this year.
