To mark the 40th anniversary of Vietnam’s Reunification (Liberation Day, April 30), the Hai Minh Import and Export Co., in collaboration with the watchmaker Orient, has launched a special watch with the slogan: Vietnam’s spirit - Japan’s quintessence.

The watch comes in three versions, including black face - steel wire, demi wire - white face, and white face - gold wire. The clock face features a map of Vietnam, with clusters of dots symbolizing the Paracel and Spratly Islands (Hoang Sa and Truong Sa). The line “the 40th anniversary of Reunification” in English is printed on the glass at the bottom of the clock face. The manufacturer said that there will be 2015 such watches produced, numbered from 1 to 2015, and sold nationwide from December 13.

Through the special edition watches the distributor expects to evoke patriotism and love among the people of Vietnam.
