Discussions took place during Offshore Technology Conference in Houston.
A delegation from Vietnam’s national oil and gas group, PetroVietnam, headed by CEO Nguyen Quoc Khanh, held meetings last week with giant American partners in the oil and gas industry such as ExxonMobil, Murphy Oil, Halliburton, GE, and Schlumberger to discuss strengthening cooperation in the near term, during the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 2015 in Houston, Texas, where energy professionals meet to exchange ideas and opinions to advance scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resources.
The OTC 2015 technical program covers a wide range of topics relating to the offshore energy industry and offers key insights by global experts on technological advances, safety and environmentally-focused solutions and economic and regulatory impacts.
This year more than 94,700 participants from 130 countries gathered together at the annual conference to exchange ideas and opinions on the safe and environmentally-friendly sustainable development of offshore oil and gas resources.
Addressing the conference, H.E. Pham Quang Vinh, Ambassador of Vietnam to the United States, emphasized that Vietnam has all the conditions necessary and holds great potential for those who wish to come and enter into cooperative arrangements.
