Confectioner to use Japanese investment to develop and connect with Japanese enterprises.
Pham Nguyen Confectionery Corp. has received $9.3 million in investment from Mizuho Asia Partners, an investment fund established in Singapore, according to Mr. Pham Ngoc Thai, Chairman of the corporation.
Mr. Thai said the investment will help the corporation operate better and expand its factories and develop products. He also expects the corporation will be able to enhance its distribution networks and promotional activities.
Its products are now distributed to 52,000 retail stores, supermarkets, and convenience stores in rural and urban areas around Vietnam.
Mr. Kota Igarashi, CEO of Mizuho Asia Partners, said that Pham Nguyen Confectionery Corp. has been on the fund’s list of small and medium-sized enterprises in Southeast Asia to develop and nurture.
Mizuho Asia Partners will also help the corporation operate with experienced Japanese enterprises.
Pham Nguyen Confectionery Corp. owns famous cakes, biscuits, and chocolate brands such as ChocoPN, Sosof, Phaner Pie, Bon, Limo, ChipsP&N, Oscar, Otto and Mam.
