Scholarships presented in Hue, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City wrap up this year's program.
The Toyota Vietnam Foundation (TVF) has finished its 2014 scholarship program for talented Vietnamese music students and the program is expected to double next year.
TVF presented 14 scholarships in Hue to complete the 85 scholarships awarded in total, valued at over $15,900, at an event in the former capital on December 3.
Though scholarship numbers were the same this year as last year they are expected to increase to about 160 next year, according to TVF President Yoshihira Maruta.
To date, 560 scholarships have been awarded to talented young Vietnamese music students throughout the country by TVF, with funds raised at events such as Toyota Classics and the Toyota Concert Tour.
In addition to the 14 scholarships awarded in Hue, 55 were awarded in Hanoi and 16 in Ho Chi Minh City.
