Vietjet launches Hanoi-Kaohsiung route

First flight to Taiwanese city held on October 29.

Vietjet Air has officially launched its Hanoi - Kaohsiung (Taiwan) route, bringing its total number of flights to Taiwan to six; the most of any carrier from Vietnam.

On October 29, Flight VJ946 from Hanoi landed at Kaohsiung International Airport, officially opening the new route.

The new route meets needs in tourism and contributes to promoting trade and integration in the region. Passengers on this initial flight received beautiful gifts from Vietjet.

Round-trip flights on the Hanoi - Kaohsiung route are conducted on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with a flight time of nearly three hours. Flights depart Hanoi at 7.30am and arrive at Kaohsiung at 10.45. Return flights depart Kaohsiung at 11.45am and arrive in Hanoi at 1.35pm (all local times).

A busy port city, Kaohsiung attracts many tourists to its sparkling lakes, romantic rivers, and the magnificent architecture of an 85-story building. The Guang Shan Buddha is the pride of Kaohsiung, with Taiwanese people believing it is the most valuable and meaningful in Taiwan.
