Carrier's latest acquisition the first A321 in the world to feature 230 seats.
Vietjet Air’s newest aircraft, an A321 coded VN-A660, has arrived at Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport after flying from Hamburg in Germany. “In welcoming the A321ceo with Sharklet wingtips into the Vietjet family we continue to meet our expansion plans,” said Mr. Luu Duc Khanh, Vietjet’s Managing Director.
“We are wholly committed to flying brand new aircraft while continuously upgrading our fleet to bring our passengers greater comfort and maximum convenience,” he added.
The aircraft, an A321ceo with Sharklet wingtips, is the latest version of Airbus’s single-aisle family and the first ever in the world to feature 230 seats.
The unique design helps reduce fuel costs, CO2 emissions, and noise levels. It’s also designed to boost cabin efficiency while maximizing the passenger experience.
With this latest addition to its fleet Vietjet is now operating 26 brand-new A320s and A321s, helping the new-age airline improve its service quality and further develop its network in Vietnam and across the Asia-Pacific region.
