Latest addition takes carrier's fleet to 20.
Vietjet Air received another brand new Airbus aircraft at Tan Son Nhat International Airport on December 31. Coded LZ-BHF, the new aircraft helps Vietjet Air offer more than 10,000 seats per week on all routes and brings its fleet to a total of 20 aircraft.
In accordance with its business development plan, Vietjet Air will take delivery of 6-12 Airbus aircraft every year. With an order for 100, Vietjet Air is determined to strengthen its fleet, expand its flight network, and increase the frequency of existing routes while offering travelers the most convenient flight schedules and the best possible airfares.
With a fleet of 20 Airbus A320s, Vietjet Air now operates 130 flights per day, transporting 8 million passengers in total so far. It covers 28 local and international routes across the country and the region, to Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan, and Cambodia.
