The airline is also looking at opening a number of new international routes from the city.
VietJet has opened a new flagship ticket outlet and representative office in Da Nang, Vietnam's largest and most developed central city.
This new outlet is the biggest of its kind in central Vietnam. Located downtown on Ham Nghi Street, it features luxurious and modern décor and opens from 7am to 8pm.
The building will also accommodate VietJet's Customer Service Center, where their famously friendly and dedicated support staff will be on hand to guide customers through routes, schedules and, of course, purchasing the most affordable airfares in the land.
VietJet currently operates eight to ten daily round trips between Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, another five connecting Da Nang with Hanoi, and four linking Da Nang and Can Tho per week.
Moving forward, VietJet will soon expand its flight network by adding a direct route from Da Nang to Bangkok as well as some other major international destinations to meeting growing travel demand.
To celebrate the opening, the airline is giving away air tickets from just VND100,000 plus hundreds of souvenirs.
