Milestone reached on weekend, with carrier offering biggest promotion to date in celebration.
Vietjet Air held a special reception at Tan Son Nhat International Airport on the weekend for its 25 millionth passenger. Mr. Luu Duc Khanh, Vietjet’s Managing Director, said that the number of passengers will continue to increase in the years to come. “We pledge to open new routes in Vietnam and other countries to enhance cultural and economic exchanges between Vietnam and other countries around the world,” he said.
The lucky passenger, Mr. Nguyen Quang Son, a photographer living in Hanoi who flew on flight VJ153 from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, will receive free flights on all Vietjet routes for one year. Vietjet also held a special reception for its 24,999,999th passenger.
To welcome the milestone as well as the coming new year, Vietjet has launched its biggest-ever promotion in 2015, called “Fly into an amazing fairy tale with Vietjet”, with thousands of fabulous presents daily and weekly.
The luckiest passenger will win a special award - a luxurious apartment at Dragon City worth VND2 billion ($88,500).
The promotion is available for all passengers flying with Vietjet on all routes from December 1 to February 15.
