The 10th International Exhibition on Electrical Technology & Equipment (Vietnam ETE) and the 7th International Exhibition on Products and Technologies of Energy Saving & Green Power (Enertec Expo) will open from July 19 to 22 in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 7.

The two expos will introduce the latest technological achievements in the electricity and electrical equipment industry and promote energy-saving and green energy products and solutions.

Under the Master Plan and Strategy for Vietnam’s Industrial Development, power projects were to be completed in accordance with the National Electricity Development Plan, approved by the government, by 2010. It aims to develop new forms of energy and renewable energy to meet the requirements of diversifying energy sources such as wind, solar, and biomass.

The expos will also introduce the latest technology in electricity and electrical appliances. Participants will introduce and promote energy-saving products, high-tech energy-saving equipment, energy-saving solutions, and the use of green energy, enhancing the production of energy-saving products, the development of new energy sources, and renewable energy that is environmentally friendly.

It presents an ideal opportunity for domestic and international businesses to enhance cooperation, attract investment, exchange science and technology, expand joint ventures, push up trade promotion, and promote professional development.

Vietnam’s mechanical enterprises have produced over 90 per cent of main accessories and equipment for the national power grid. Many electrical appliances have high localization rates, with a significant number of local enterprises being partners with the leading global corporations in the production of electrical equipment and trying to promote exports to countries in Southeast Asia, South America, and Africa.

The electrical equipment market is growing at a high 20-25 per cent each year. Energy-saving products using green energy are also prioritized and encouraged for production to meet market demand.

Vietnam ETE and Enertec Expo 2017 will welcome over 170 exhibitors in 300 booths, including leading brands and businesses in the country such as Electricity of Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City (EVN HCMC), Gelex, LiOA, ABB, Tran Phu Cable, Thai Son Nam, LS Vina, Long Giang Electrical Equipment, and others.

Enterprises such as Dien Quang Lamp, Rang Dong, and Megasun will promote the field of energy-saving products and green energy. There will also be hundreds of booths of enterprises from Japan, South Korea, China, Italy, Turkey, Russia, and Singapore.
