The 18th Vietnam International Printing & Packaging Industry Exhibition (Vietnam PrintPack) and the Food Processing Industry Exhibition (Foodtech) are concurrently being held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 7 between August 29 and September 1, introducing the most advanced printing and packaging technology to shine a light on Vietnam’s manufacturing market.

Vietnam PrintPack and Foodtech bring together more than 380 exhibitors from eleven countries and territories: Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam.

Rieckermann is showcasing its value-added, reliable printing and packaging solution, which can be adapted in multiple industries, as is ACE Machinery and its efficient cardboard box making machinery, while JV Wonder, co-funded by Wonder Jet from China and OJI from Japan, will introduce environmentally-friendly digital printing equipment that already has a market share of over 90 per cent in Vietnam.

Sansin, meanwhile, is bringing its state-of-the-art printing and packaging line, including laminators, coating machines, and slitting machines, with onsite demonstrations at their booth. Uchida is showcasing its post-printing equipment onsite, such as the Foilglazer paper folding and counting system. Visitors from domestic and foreign countries can benefit enormously from the opportunity to access such diverse international exhibitors all under one roof.

After 17 editions, Vietnam PrintPack has gained more and more international exposure and is making Vietnam more reachable to companies from other countries. The Korea Packaging Trade Association (KOPTA), the Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China (PEIAC), and the Taiwan Regional Association of Adhesive Tape Manufacturers (TAAT) are all leading their countries’ and territories'  finest enterprises to attend Vietnam PrintPack, who are ready to establish a mutually-beneficial partnership with domestic manufacturers.

Vietnam PrintPack and Foodtech is also supported by numerous industry-renowned councils. The trade show aimed to attract more than 15,000 business fair-goers from not only Vietnam but neighboring countries and territories such as Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Bangladesh and elsewhere.

An industry forum is another highlight of the trade fair. “Develop 2D & 3D printing applications in the printing industry in Vietnam”, hosted by the Vietnam Printing Association (VPA), will take the audience through recent 3D printing technology and show how it applies to the existing printing industry.

A presentation on the competition in Ho Chi Minh City’s printing industry will be made, as will one on the paper market and its impact on the printing industry and new printing business models, by the Ho Chi Minh City Printing Association. Both sessions will take place on August 30. Visitors can take advantage of this opportunity to get a deeper look into adapting new technology in the future from industry leaders like the VPA and the Ho Chi Minh City Printing Association. Vietnam PrintPack is among the leading business platforms of industry entrepreneurs who would like to advance their production lines.
