VinFast and FastGo Vietnam signed a cooperation agreement on August 15 to add 1,500 Fadil motor cars to the latter’s ride-hailing taxi service.

The agreement is based on the development of each party’s strengths and aims to build a high level of service standards.

In the first phase, VinFast will supply 1,500 high-quality Fadil motor cars to FastGo’s driver partners in the form of leasing or buying at preferential prices, to ensure consistency in FastGo’s fleet. In the second phase, the two sides will proceed to use more advanced models of the VinFast Lux motor vehicle to provide luxury transport services.

Drivers with Fadil vehicles will also receive special offers from VinFast and FastGo, including stop, pick-up, and drop-off at Vingroup’s facilities, bonus levels, attractive discounts, and a commitment of revenue being up to VND25 million ($1,000) a month.

When using VinFast’s ride-hailing service on the FastGo app, customers not only enjoy price concessions but also quality service and superior vehicle safety. They are also given priority to receive discount codes when booking cars at locations within the Vingroup ecosystem, such as Vinhomes urban areas, Vinpearl resorts, or Vincom shopping centers.

Mr. Vo Quang Hue. Deputy General Director of Vingroup, said VinFast hopes that the cooperation with FastGo will be a solid development step for VinFast’s vehicles to serve a large number of Vietnamese people. “We are committed to providing our partners with attractive incentives, special benefits, and a strong commitment in quality,” he added.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Tuat, Founder and Chairman of FastGo, said this is the first business cooperation model in the world between a car manufacturer and a technology startup, opening up a new channel to distribute products and services directly to consumers. “The cooperation with Vingroup helps FastGo create a difference in the ride-hailing market, bringing new Fadil motor cars to customers in the VinGroup ecosystem in particular and customers nationwide in general,” he added.

In the short term, FastGo will provide transportation services with VinFast vehicles in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang, before expanding to other cities and provinces around the country. In order to assist customers to book VinFast motor cars, FastGo plans to upgrade the app in the future, adding special features such as ONE CLICK, allowing users to book Fadil motor cars within 15 seconds.
