Real estate giant announces changes at shareholders' meeting.
The Saigon Thuong Tin Real Estate Joint Stock Company (Sacomreal) has announced changes in its senior personnel, with Mr. Dang Hong Anh to step down as Chairman and Member of the Board of Directors.
The Board of Directors submitted personnel reports to the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting on April 27, with shareholders considering Mr. Hong Anh’s positions. Mr. Pham Nhat Vinh, General Director of Sacomreal, was appointed as Chairman and Board Member.
Answering questions over Mr. Hong Anh’s departure, Mr. Vinh said that his resignation was for personal reasons and didn’t mean he had completely ended his involvement in the company’s operations. “Mr. Hong Anh will hold the post of Founding Board Chairman, to focus on providing support to the company at higher levels,” said Mr. Vinh.
Mr. Vinh added that the primary objective of Sacomreal in 2015 is sustainable, safe and effective development. It plans to expand overseas, opening representative offices, branches or subsidiaries outside of Vietnam.
Mr. Vinh served as Deputy Director of the Sai Gon Thuong Tin Bank (Sacombank) and Vice Chairman of the Sacombank and Sacombank Securities Joint Stock Company (Sacombank-SBS). In early 2015 he replaced Mr. Hong Anh as Sacomreal’s General Director.
