Ground broken on project in south-central province, which will play a role in tourism, employment, and overall socio-economic development.
The New City Vietnam Co. held a breaking ground ceremony on June 27 for its luxury resort project in Tuy Hoa city, south-central Phu Yen province, which has investment of $1 billion.
The 100 per cent foreign-invested project has been built on the coast straddling An Chan commune and An My commune in Tuy Hoa, with some other investors from South Korea, Taiwan, the US, and Australia joining New City Vietnam.
The project includes resorts, hotels, villas and bungalows with superior and modern services. There is also a marina of international standard and advanced entertainment services by the sea.
New City Vietnam also has another luxury resort project in the province, called Sunrise, on Hon Chua Island.
According to Mr. Tran Quang Nhat, Vice Chairman of the Phu Yen People’s Committee, the New City Vietnam project is important in attracting tourists to Phu Yen and in job creation, contributing to increasing local budget revenue and creating the conditions for the province’s socio-economic development.
