The massive mall will be home to many flagship stores and new-to-market brands.
SC VivoCity will open for business on April 19 at 1058 Nguyen Van Linh, in Ho Chi Minh City's District 7. With over 41,000 square meters of shopping choices, the $100 million five-storey mall is a multi-experiential shopping, dining and entertainment destination that will meet the diverse needs of customers.
Jointly managed by Singapore-based real estate developer Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd and Saigon Co.Op, SC VivoCity will herald a new retail experience in Vietnam with its lively mix of over 150 establishments under one roof.
Besides retail options such as popular international brands Topshop–Topman, Miss Selfridge and Dorothy Perkins, as well as home-grown apparel labels like Ninomaxx, SC VivoCity will also be home to many flagship stores and new-to-market brands including Co.OpXtra Tan Phong- an 8,000 sq m hypermarket, CGV SC VivoCity - CGV's largest cinema in Vietnam, the first McDonald's store in a Vietnamese shopping mall, and the first Harley-Davidson Black Label outlet in Asia.
Some other well-known brands who have chosen to open stores include California Fitness & Yoga Centre, Nu Cuoi Vui Bowling and Games Center, Apple Kids World, Wall Street English, Starbucks, ThaiExpress, Shabu Ya, Pepper Lunch, Marukame Udon and Sumo BBQ.
SC VivoCity will also house Vietnam's first ever open-air wet playground situated on the roof deck. It is equipped with spray tunnels, water cannons and water fountains for children to run amok among while their parents rest their feet.
The center will incorporate the successful elements of Singapore's largest mall, VivoCity. It will reside as part of Saigon South Place, a 4.4 hectare commercial complex which includes three Grade A business towers and two international apartment buildings.
