The Ascott Limited (Ascott), CapitaLand’s wholly-owned serviced residence business unit, has opened its first property in Nha Trang and the first Citadines Apart’hotel-branded property in Vietnam. The Apart’hotel is invested by MIPEC.

Citadines Bayfront Nha Trang is located on Tran Phu Street with business-friendly facilities such as a ballroom, meeting rooms, and a business center. Tourists in Nha Trang will also be spoilt for choice by its vibrant array of quaint shops, local eateries, and nightspots within walking distance of the Apart’hotel.

“I am confident that, with Ascott’s operating expertise, strong brand awareness, and business network after operating for more than two decades in Vietnam, we can optimize the potential and performance of Citadines Bayfront Nha Trang, for both short-stay tourists and the long-stay business segment,” said Mr. Tony Soh, Ascott’s Chief Corporate Officer and Managing Director for Vietnam.

“With the first Citadines in Vietnam, we will be able to cater to the growing demand among savvy independent travelers who want the flexibility to customize their stay experience by choosing the services they desire,” said Ms. Lew Yen Ping, Country General Manager.

Citadines Bayfront Nha Trang has 310 units from studio hotel rooms to one-bedroom apartments, each designed with stylish interiors. Guests can unwind at swimming pools, resident lounges, or the all-day dining restaurant, coffee shop, and bar. Those who love tranquility can take a day trip out to bask on pristine beaches along Nha Trang Bay, soak in mineral springs at Thap Ba, or visit historic Po Nagar Cham Towers and the Nha Trang National Oceanographic Museum when exploring Vietnam’s famous coastal city.

To celebrate the opening, guests can enjoy special promotional rates from VND1,560,000++ ($68.65) per night from now to December 20. Attractive rates are also available for month-long stays.

Ascott, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CapitaLand Limited, pioneered Asia Pacific’s first international-class serviced residence with the opening of The Ascott Singapore in 1984. Today, the company boasts over 30 years of industry track record and award-winning serviced residence brands that enjoy recognition worldwide.

It currently has a portfolio of 22 serviced residences with almost 5,000 units in Vietnam. Somerset West Point Hanoi is expected to open later this month and four more properties will open in the country over the next two years.

Citadines, which began in France some 33 years ago, is a brand that appeals to those who seek a vibrant and flexible lifestyle. It is particularly suitable for travelling executives, single expatriates on project assignments, and small families.
