$330 million to be spent on Nha Trang center.
The FLC Group, a multi-sector concern with many real estate projects in recent times, will invest $330 million in building an administrative center in Khanh Hoa’s province’s Nha Trang city on an area of 126 ha.
On January 26 the FLC Group and the Khanh Hoa Department of Construction announced the results of a competition organized to identify suitable plans for the center. The winner was the Institute for Urban and Rural Planning of Vietnam, whose idea will be used under a build-operate-transfer (BOT) project between FLC and Khanh Hoa province.
Speaking at the ceremony to announce the winner of the competition, Mr. Le Duc Vinh, Deputy Chairman of the Khanh Hoa People’s Committee, said that in carrying out the project investors should pay particular attention to traffic networks to ensure links between the administrative center and residential areas.
For his part, Mr. Doan Van Phuong, General Director of the FLC Group, said that the administrative center will be its priority construction project this year. “FLC will mobilize the best human resources to speed up the process, guaranteeing that construction is finished on schedule,” he said.
Previously, at the “Opportunities and Potential of the FLC Group” workshop on January 15, Mr. Trinh Van Quyet, CEO of FLC, said that with the BOT, FLC would build the administrative center while the province will assign land that was previously the main office of the Khanh Hoa People’s Committee, in order to build hotels and other projects.
